Al Saleh holds seminar on Fumagalli Lights

Al Saleh Enterprises LLC, the prominent Lighting House and the Sole distributor of Fumagalli Italy products in the Sultanate of Oman organized an Interactive Seminar at Grand Hyatt Hotel on 13.02.201. Officials from different segments like Ministries, Consultants, Contractors, and Various Projects Authorities attended the Seminar.

The program started at 7.15pm with the Welcome Speech by Mr. Abbas Sajwany and Mr. Syed Asim Jafri.

Al Saleh Group of Companies Chairman Mr. Mustafa Bin Mukhtar Bin Ali Al Lawati addressed the Gathering. Engr. Yasir Mahmood introduced the Fumagalli Officials to the audience.

Arch. Paolo Fumagalli and Dr. Emmanuelle Fumagalli presented the detailed technical Seminar. The Session was very much interesting and interactive, and dealt with various aspects of Modern Lighting Technology and innovations of Fumagalli. The demonstration of newly designed LED Range Products of Fumagalli was there. The commercial and technical aspects of the Fumagalli products were well explained by Arch Paolo Fumagalli. Fumagalli products are made with Galvanized Iron, Resin and Expanse. The unique design and composition of Resin Outdoor Lighting poles makes Fumagalli an excellent brand in Global Lighting Market. Fumagalli official are quite true and confident that LED will be the technology of tomorrow in lighting.

The interactive session ended up with the question time and everybody from the audience had the chance to clarify their doubts about any aspects of lighting technology and Fumagalli products in particular. The invitees expressed their happiness in the initiative of Al Saleh Enterprises for sharing knowledge and to make them up to date.

Mr Chand Pasha, Commercial Manager of Al Saleh Enterprises LLC expressed the gratitude to all the invitees for their participation and also appreciated its Project Team for arranging such a beautiful gathering.

Al Saleh Project team, apart from other Al Saleh senior staff, took active part in the seminar. The session ended with a sumptuous dinner and gifts were distributed to the participants by Al Saleh Enterprises and Fumagalli.

Al Saleh Celebrates Annual Staff Day 2009

Al Saleh Enterprises LLC, a prominent business house in the Sultanate of Oman conducted its Annual Staff Day 2009 on March 10th, 2010. The group Chairman, Mr. Mustafa Bin Mukhtar Bin Ali Al Lawati, Managing Partner, Mr. Hussain Bin Salman Bin Ghulam Al Lawati, Senior Managers, executives were present on the occasion and eminent guests were invited to grace the event. The program commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran.

The Hon. Chairman addressed the gathering and expressed his views and appreciated all of the employees for the satisfactory performance in the year 2009. With pride he pointed out that Al Saleh’s brands, Hayashi, Rustaq, BG, Excel, Omex etc, have gained popularity in Oman mainly because of its superior quality, durability and affordability. The introduction of UKS electrical accessories and enhancement in Hayashi and Rustaq brands product range were the highlights of the year 2009. The speech was clear and focused and touched on the fact that employees are the pillars of any organization and in Al Saleh the management does respond to staff needs & views vigilantly. The contribution of the entire Omani Staff was praised and they were further called upon to come forward and take more responsibilities in the organization.

In his speech, Group General Manager – Mr Abbas H. Nanji highlighted the progress made during 2009 and thanks Almighty Allah for the stellar performance achieved against all odds, including the global financial crisis. He pointed out that the policies set by the management are successful and is on the track to take the organization for further development. He added that, “With team work, timely and correct decisions, and coordination we stand to gain and will grow more”. He congratulated the senior managers, particularly, Mr.Chand Pasha – Commercial Manager, Mr Fazal Mohamed – Business Development Manager, Mr Obaid – Asst. Finance Manager, and Mr. Jafri – Manager Lightings and Showrooms Manager, senior colleagues for their contribution and asked each staff to prosper. Encouraging Omani colleagues, he urged them to come forward and take senior position and accept additional responsibilities in the organization.  

Staffs that stood out during 2009 were felicitated on the occasion. The Group General Manager announced the awards for Best Salesgirl won by Ms Laila of Sohar Showroom. “Best Salesman” shared by Mr. Talal of Al Hail Showroom and Mr. Pujari of Outdoor Sales and Mr. Bhimani of Project Sales. The prestigious “Best Employee of the year” was shared by Mr. Sreekanth of Outdoor division and Mr. Issa Al Amri of Al Hail Showroom. Best team award went to Outdoor team headed by Mr Fazal. The Long Service Awards for Omani and Non Omani Staff were announced. Mr. Chairman gracefully gave away the awards to the winners. The theme and logo for the year 2010 were introduced by Mr. Hans Meiring during the meeting. Coordination is the theme introduced for year 2010. Mr. Chand Pasha - Commercial Manager gave the vote of thanks and surprised the audience by announcing bonus and Incentive that added flavor and more joy to the occasion.

In continuation to the Annual Day Celebration, the Management had a Day out to Yiti Beach on 12.03.2010 for Al Saleh staff and their family members.

The family of Al Saleh Enterprises LLC was present and the entire atmosphere was euphoric. Exciting games for men, women, and children were organised and delicious breakfast and delicious lunch for the day. It was fun and frolic through out the day and everyone enjoyed rollicking in the sea, playing foot ball, Table Tennis, Caroms, etc. Competitions were held among different age groups to encourage all sections of children. The games were interesting and were enjoyed by all. Separate games for ladies were also conducted. 

At the end of the day Prizes were given to the winners and runners and it was distributed by respected GGM and CM. The gifts to the Ladies were distributed by Mrs. GGM and Mrs. Sarah. Every child got attractive gifts on the day.

Al Saleh Hike Omani Staff Emolument

Al Saleh revised Omani Staff salaries and hike was hefty, a communique issued from corporate office recently. It is elaborated that, for the first time, Omani staff have seen robust hike in their gross emolument. Approx 38% salary increase was awarded to Omani executives, and similar hike was also given for other Omanis employed in the organization at various designated position. Staffs in Al Saleh were overwhelmed with the revision and expressed their gratitude with the bottom of the heart, as our reporter was amongst them with their joy.

Omanese exchanging their views stating boost in the salary has given them fresh hope and remembered that honesty and hard-work has been duly rewarded at Al Saleh as admitted by an Omani. Another Omani Staff - Mr Sameer Anwar Mohamed Khal Al-Balushi, going on to say on record that at the moment package given in the organization is much attractive thus we can lead life with much of ease. They have now geared up and looking out for their sub-ordinates to recruit in the top lighting organization. This is a significant move by Al Saleh Management under the current situation and it would go a long way in strengthening social behavior of the staff and at the same time management staff relationship would flourish beyond its expected level. Al Saleh considers its employees as the best assets of the company and is proud of their contribution to its growth and success. Al Saleh has promoted Omanization as a symbol of the national economy.
