Al Saleh's Annual Staff Day - 2007

Al Saleh Enterprises LLC, leaders in Lighting conducted Staff Day on 9th April 2008. Al Saleh Group Chairman – Mr Mustafa Mukhtar Bin Ali Al Lawati, Managing Partner – Mr Hussain Salman Bin Ali Al Lawati, Senior Managers, Management Executives were present on the occasion. Prominent Guests were invited to attend the evening event. The programme commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran.
On arrival to the dais, Al Saleh Group Chairman was greeted by Managing Director, Group General Manager, Commercial Manager, Sales Manager, Guests, invitees in particular and all the staff in general. The speech was stimulated and full of ambitions. He announced with pride that Al Saleh’s brands, Hayashi, Rustaq, BG, Excel etc are gaining consistency due to its durability and consistency tends to obtain our share in Oman market. He was clear that all employees should be well taken care of and he was pretty aware that Al Saleh does respond to staff views vigilantly. In his speech, Group General Manager – Mr Abbas H. Nanji highlighted the developments taken place in the last year and thanked Almighty Allah that the actions initiated and policies set by him have proved well and on the track. He was glad to announce that two new showrooms have been opened in the year 2007, one at Bidaya and another elegant showroom at Salalah. Further, talking on Oman, he stressed that economy is booming and urged to take the advantage from the market. While boosting the morale he added, “Play our role more effectively, with the team work, timely and correct decisions, and dedication we will gain the advantage and would grow with the country”. He congratulated the senior managers, particularly, Mr Chand Pasha – Commercial Manager, Mr Shabber Hussain – Sales Manager, Mr Fazal Mohamed – Business Development Manager, Mr Obaid – Chief Accountant, and Mr Jafri – Manager Lightings and Showrooms Manager, senior colleagues for their contribution and asked each staff to prosper. Encouraging Omani colleagues, he urged them to come forward and take senior position and accept additional responsibilities in the organization.
Group General Manager announced significant prizes of the year 2007. “Best Productive Man” of the year conferred to Mr Samar, “Best Salesman” was bagged by Mr Talal of Al Hail Showroom. The prestigious “Best Employee of the year” was given away to Mr Shaymjith. Best Salesgirl won by Ms Laila of Sohar Showroom. Best team award went to Outdoor team headed by Mr Shyamjith. Chairman, gracefully gave away the awards to Al Saleh Staff. While addressing vote of thanks, Commercial Manager – Mr Chand Pasha gave pleasant surprise and announced bonus and Incentives on the occasion and which drew more joy on employees.
The Picnic was held on Friday, 10th April 2008 at Sawadi Beach. The day was marked by exuberance and fun for the Al Saleh Staff who put up a fantastic performance.
Indoor games i.e. Table Tennis, Carrom, were held well before the picnic. Various outdoor games were conducted and prizes were distributed by Commercial Manager – Mr Chand Pasha and Sales Manager – Mr Shabber Hussain late in the evening. Competitions were held among different age groups to encourage all sections of children. The games were interesting and were enjoyed by all. Separate games for ladies were also conducted and it was interesting. The gathering was full enjoyable events. The evening was cherished by one and all.
